OPENING NOVEMBER 2026 · ONLINE THERAPY

Therapy that fits the life you actually have.

I am Caitriona Kirrane, an integrative psychotherapist working online with women across Ireland in their twenties, thirties and forties. Sessions run at times built around a full week — early mornings, evenings and weekends included — so getting to therapy is not one more thing to manage.

Sound familiar
  • Overwhelm & burnout — constantly juggling thoughts, responsibilities and expectations, often feeling exhausted from trying to keep everything together.
  • Emotional sensitivity — experiencing emotions intensely, including rejection sensitivity, anxiety, rumination and difficulty recovering from criticism or conflict.
  • Self-esteem & perfectionism — chronic self-criticism, feeling “not good enough”, people-pleasing and setting unrealistically high standards to compensate.
  • Masking & executive-function struggles — appearing capable and organised externally while privately struggling with procrastination, focus, time management, routines and consistency.

If you recognise yourself in any of that, it is what I work with every week. Naming it out loud, to one person, with time set aside for it, changes how heavy it is to carry.

About me

Caitriona Kirrane

I am a qualified psychotherapist with a BSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

I believe therapy should fit around your life, not become another burden in it. That is why I work online and keep non-traditional hours — early mornings, evenings and weekends — so getting support is easier to access and actually convenient.

Integrative means I draw on more than one approach, and shape the work around you rather than fitting you to a method.

What I work with

Overwhelm and burnout

When rest stops working because the problem is how much you are carrying, not how tired you are.

Emotional sensitivity

Intense feelings, rejection sensitivity and the rumination that follows criticism or conflict — met with curiosity, not judgement.

Self-esteem and perfectionism

Quietening the inner critic and the people-pleasing, so your standards support you instead of draining you.

Masking and ADHD

Diagnosed recently, waiting on assessment, or fairly sure — and building routines that work with your brain, not against it.

How it works

Fee

Length

Where
Online
Rhythm
Weekly or Bi-Weekly

Sessions are held online, so you join from home, from the car before pick-up, or from a room with a door that closes. I keep early morning and evening slots specifically for people whose working day does not bend.

What a first session is like

01

You do not need to know where to start or how to explain it well. I ask questions, and you answer the ones you want to.

02

We cover what has brought you here now, what you have already tried, and what you would like to be different.

03

At the end you decide whether to book again. There is no expectation to continue, and saying it is not for you is a normal outcome.

Whether this is the right time

A good fit

You are functioning, and it is costing you more than it should.
You want to understand a pattern, not just get through the week.
You can commit to roughly the same time each week for a few months.

Not right now

You need support this week — a waitlist is the wrong route.
You are looking for a diagnosis or an assessment; I do not provide either.
You are in crisis or unsafe. Contact your GP, or the Samaritans on 116 123, free, any hour.

The practical bits

Cancellation

Cancel or move a session with 48 hours notice at no charge. Inside 48 hours the full fee applies, because the slot is held for you.

Confidentiality

What you say stays between us. The limits are risk to you or someone else, and a court order. I will tell you if either applies.

Supervision

Like every practising therapist, I discuss my work in regular supervision. Nothing that identifies you is shared.

Payment

€80 per session, paid by bank transfer before the session.
